Commemorating National Minority Day at the President’s House

Commemorating National Minority Day at the President’s House

August 11, 2025 marked a historic and meaningful day as Pakistan celebrated National Minority Day, a tribute to the vision and values of the Founder of the Nation, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, who strongly advocated for equality, tolerance, and the protection of minority rights.

A special gathering was hosted at the President’s House, Islamabad, where the occasion was commemorated with great dignity and respect. The event was graced by the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari, the First Lady, Miss Asifa Bhutto, along with several distinguished parliamentarians and dignitaries.

We are proud to share that David Paul, Executive Director of AGAPE, represented our organization at this prestigious event. His presence underscored AGAPE’s ongoing commitment to promoting inclusivity, social harmony, and equal opportunities for all communities in Pakistan.

National Minority Day serves as a reminder of our collective responsibility to uphold the values of unity, respect, and justice. At AGAPE, we remain dedicated to working towards a society where diversity is celebrated, and every individual—regardless of background—has the freedom and opportunity to thrive.
