Peace-Centered Sports Activity / Day of Prayer and Action for Children 2025

A two-day cricket tournament was organized on 19–20 November 2025 in Wah Cantt by Pakistan Campus Crusade for Christ, in collaboration with AGAPE Learning & Growing Together (a member of the GNRC Committee Pakistan).

The event aimed to promote peacebuilding and raise awareness among youth about recognizing early signs of violence, while encouraging positive engagement through sports. Approximately 120 young boys participated in the tournament, forming 8 teams.

On 20 November, marking World Children’s Day / Day of Prayer and Action for Children, prizes and gifts were presented to the winning and runner-up teams.

The event was honored by the presence of distinguished guests, including David Paul (Coordinator GNRC Pakistan), Pastor Ubaid (President, Pakistan Campus Crusade for Christ – North Zone), Yousaf Naz (President, Local Minorities Group), as well as Pastor Naseer, Pastor Shahzad, and Pastor Arshad, who graced the occasion and encouraged the participants.

The activity successfully highlighted the role of sports in fostering unity, discipline, and a culture of peace among youth.
